The Mine Experience

My trip to the Crystal Gold Mine was so much fun. The mine itself was fascinating. I loved being able to feel the change in temperature physically and the rock; I loved the veins and everything I was able to see and feel just by being there: the dripping water onto my arm, the darkness when the lights went out, the crowded shaft, and a few other things I will keep to myself, so I don’t spoil it all for you.
Now, everything I add to my first two books will be based on my personal experience and what I have read. I will need to take some artistic liberties to make the story more exciting; I hope you can forgive me for that because I’m not sorry about it. Haha.
Here is a spoiler only for those in my pack:
Most of the mine scenes will be featured physically in book 2. Book 1 will hint at parts of the mine. I will keep that a secret for now. I don’t want to give away too much. You need something to look forward to after all.
For now, enjoy the pictures.

(These are what I had permission to post.) Until next time, my friends,
Stephanie Winkel
PS. Can you get the Huckleberry reference?
The only thing I think of when I hear “Huckleberry” is Doc Holliday “I’m your huckleberry”
